Welcome to the ABtry6/27th Artillery Quan Loi, Vietnam Website.  The site is loaded with photos, stories and memories of HHB and Alpha Battery 6/27th Artillery at Quan Loi, South Vietnam as well as the other 6/27th Artillery Batteries and their locations.  The site has grown over the last three years as veterans send photos, stories and other content and it can appear to be a bit daunting to the first-time visitor.  You can explore the site on your own - visiting sections and pages as you like - by using the navigation buttons at the top of the opening home page, or you can start with this chronological tour of the site and then return to individual exploration whenever you desire.

The trouble with any tour is you must go where someone else wants you to go, but there are many opportunities for you to trail off on your own way and then return to the Tour by using your Back Button.  The site has over 2000 links to various content and this tour will only touch on a selection of high points.  You are advised to come back often to explore the site at your leisure in order to visit all of its links.

The Tour is designed so that you can take your time, leave and come back as often as you have the time.  Simply remember which Tour number you last chose and start up again from that point.

The tour is arranged in chronological or historical order, starting with a brief history of the 6th Battalion 27th Artillery.  From there it takes you through the 6/27th's time in Vietnam, beginning in 1966 and moves on through 1971 when the battalion left Vietnam for Ft. Lewis, WA and eventual stand-down.

As you finish each page of the Tour look for the 90th Replacement Tour bus and navigation bar to continue the tour or return to previous stops.

To change Tours use the navigation buttons to the left to choose another Tour or return to the site Home Page.

Now it's time for you to choose a Tour.  We suggest Tour One.  Gather up your gear, have a copy of your travel orders with you and off we will go.
