About Frappr! |
|
Frappr! is the Web's best community mapper. We help turn
your ordinary Web pages into interactive, fun and engaging
destinations. Frappr! was launched in 2005 by Kun, James and
Brian, three friends from UC Berkeley and USC who wanted to
keep track of their friends' whereabouts after college. More
than 2 million Frappr! Maps have been created so far, and
the number keeps growing every day. |

What are Frappr! Maps? |
|
Frappr! Maps give Web site owners and visitors an easy and
unique way to visualize and interact with each other.
Visitors can add their name, photo and message directly on a
Web page embedded with Frappr! Maps, and the Web site owner
gets real-time stats on where visitors are coming from and
how often they visit. |
How to Use
My thought is that this feature is an interesting way for everyone
that visits the site to find old and new friends. In order to
do this please consider adding your name and photo to this new
website feature rather than just a nickname. All who join will
be able to send you a message via your Frappr account if they want
to communicate with you. Frappr notifies you via the email
address you provide that you have a message. Your email
address is not divulged. You log-on to your Frappr account to
read the message and reply or not. Totally anonymous posts are not
allowed as they add no value to the feature and all new posts are
screened before they are put up. You may also add more photos
to be viewed by members of the map.
Rather than duplicate the effort here is a link to
Frappr frequently asked questions. Take a few minutes to
check out the questions - they should help you learn what you can do
as a member of the site map and how to do it. If you have any
questions drop me a note at
abattery6-27tharty@quanloil.org.
Your comments are also welcome. John Wavra
