Near Saigon University - Convoy to Phouc Vinh - November 1965

A bunch of miserable troops in the hot sun at Saigon University, our first camp in Vietnam. We were each given only three rounds in case we were attacked by the VC. The Mother Hunter, Bn XO (as I remember), did not want us to get too enthusiastic returning fire and hurt ourselves.  Unidentified Soldiers in tent at First Camp near Saigon University.  Don Withrow and "Doc" Weiner, Bn Surgeon, ready for the convoy to move out. Unidentified soldiers in truck behind  My driver...I do not remember his name after so many years. Can you identify him?
Me, ready to roll.  Rice paddies along the route to Phouc Vinh.
