15 - Photo is me in Tower. I forget if it was T1 or T2. It was by the Main Gate. I remember during my 2nd tour that we had one person from Hq Btry, Ist Cav, and 11 Cav. assigned to the Tower. When I wasn't on Bunker 8, I was in the tower.  We called Arty in from An Loc and had a Direct Link with "Blue Max".  Not sure if You remember or not, Blue Max was the Cobra Gunships call sign.  I have story for you about the Cobra that went down by Old Bunker 8. McLaughlin drove a truck through the wire or drove it to the wire and cut through, I forget, to rescue the Pilot and Gunner. They were injured, but all right. I don't even know if anyone besides me knew about what he did. When morning came and we went to see the Cobra, I remember it wasn't a mechanical problem that brought it down. The people at the sight who came to retrieve it said it was hit with small arms fire.
