Me, Cheek is in Background. That was My first day back for my 2nd tour. The photo was taken the moment I arrived back. I hitched a ride from Long Binh, and the Convoy was hit on HW 13 about half way to Quan Loi. All my gear was in Quan Loi. I had no weapon, An officer gave me his 45 and a clip. He had an M 16 for himself. A fuel truck, APC, and a Deuce 1/2 got hit in front of us. Long Story. Everyone in those 3 vehicles was killed or wounded. I guess that's the reason I look the way I do in the photo.
